[Kundalini Yoga] self-introduction

Sat Nam, I think the true value of kundalini yoga can be found in it´s application and the results that you find in your heart. I recognize the healing value of many paths, Reiki, Kunlun, Falun gong,…etc but i´ve commited myself to KY. It is interesting to look at the similarities between disciplines. I suggest choosing one kriya like Sat Kriya or Sodarshan kriya and doing it for 1000 days for at least 3mins.-31mins. everyday to see where it will take you. Your ego will resist the changes and this at times the practice can be trying. On some days I must admit to you I feel like a fool feeling angry over the same issues since before beginning my practice and it feels that I haven´t progressed at all, then on days of clarity where I´ve worked through a block I give thanks for this practive and all that it has given me. It is easy in today´s society with the amount of information at our fingertips to fall into the trap of a practitioner of all, master of none, ultimately leading to more confusion than clarity in our search for our true identity. Ultimately, to arrive at a destination you must choose one boat, figuratively speaking. So search, try, and experiment, but ultimately choose something that works best for you. There are many paths up to the top of the mountain I hope to get there someday and I wish the same for you too. -Chris
